Letter B, letter C: From Caterpillar to Butterfly.

It's one of the simplest craft, and what is more, it can be used to bring about the integration of students. It all starts with the caterpillar's head. The teacher asks each student to tell others about activities they like, their preferences. Next they take a strip of paper to make "one segment of the caterpillar" that is immediatelly attached to the rest of its "growing" body. The project is also good for practicing making patterns, depending on the context it's used in.

1) To make the caterpillar's head you may use green construction paper or a paper tube.
2) Each student forms a strip of paper into a circle and secures it with a stapler. Then they slide the next strip through the previous loop and again they staple it (use a stapler, tape or glue).
3) Finally all students decorate the caterpillar together. They need to cooperate with each other, work in such a way so that they don't disturb others, and leave them enough space to work comfortably.
